This policy explains what AVANPA CREATION PRIVATE LIMITED collects through Khojdo and why.
What we collect
- Account details - name, email, mobile number, and for business owners the business name.
- Listing content - everything an owner publishes about their business, which is public by design.
- Enquiries - the name, phone number and message a visitor sends to a business.
- Reviews - your rating and text, shown with your name.
- Technical data - a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a per-listing view counter.
- Your IP address - the address your internet connection is using when you visit. We keep it.
- A visit cookie - a random number, stored in your browser for two years, that lets us tell one visitor from another without knowing who you are. It contains nothing but that number.
- What you looked at - the categories and cities you open, tap a phone number in, or ask for a quote in. We keep a running score per category so the homepage can show you those again.
- Where you arrived from - the website that linked you here the first time, and any campaign tag in the address. Recorded once, on your first visit.
How we use it
To run the directory: publishing listings, delivering enquiries to the business they were sent to, moderating reviews, and contacting you about your account or a payment. We do not sell personal data.
The visitor counter and the "picking up where you left off" section
The counter on the homepage is a count of browsers, not of people, and it ignores search-engine crawlers. Separately, we record which categories you open so that on a later visit the homepage can show you businesses in those categories rather than a generic list. That section appears only after you have shown a clear interest - opening a business profile or a category page - and it never changes the order of search results, which are ranked the same way for everyone.
To switch the personalisation off, clear this site's cookies in your browser, or browse in a private window. The site works exactly the same without it.
How long we keep it
Your IP address is kept indefinitely, for security, fraud investigation and spotting duplicate or abusive enquiries. Interest scores older than 60 days stop being used. Everything else is kept for as long as your account or listing exists.
Who sees it
An enquiry is shared with the business you sent it to, and with nobody else. Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, which receives the details needed to take the payment - we never see or store your card number. Our hosting provider stores the data on our behalf.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your listings at any time from your dashboard. To have your account and its data removed, email support@khojdo.in from your registered address and we will action it, keeping only what tax law requires us to keep.
You do not need an account to ask. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us to delete what we hold about you as a visitor - your IP address and your recorded interests - by emailing support@khojdo.in. Tell us the approximate dates you visited so we can find the right records. We will delete them and confirm.
Security
Passwords are stored hashed, never in readable form. Traffic is served over HTTPS. No system is perfect, so please use a password you do not reuse elsewhere.
